JOANNA ANGEL BLESSES HALO-8 WITH RE-PENETRATOR, XXXORCIST

- Indie distributor acquires worldwide R-rated/unrated rights to notorious gore-porn -

Los Angeles, CA, December 4, 2007 - Halo-8 Entertainment has secured worldwide distribution rights to R-rated/unrated "mainstream" versions of the notorious gore-porns RE-PENETRATOR and THE XXXORCIST, starring Joanna Angel and produced by her Burning Angel Productions. Halo-8 intends to package the films as THE SICK & TWISTED HORROR OF JOANNA ANGEL and distribute through its deal with Ryko Filmworks / Warner-Elektra-Atlantic with a street date of February 26th, 2008.

"Joanna Angel is fearless and twisted, and these films are milestones on cinema's path to hell," said Matt Pizzolo, President of Halo-8.

"Halo-8 is known for putting out films that piss people off," said Angel. "It seems appropriate that RE-PENETRATOR and THE XXXORCIST be added to the roster."

The films were originally met with both controversy and acclaim in their hardcore forms. RE-PENETRATOR won a coveted AVN Award for "Most Outrageous Sex Scene," however the fans were unfortunately not able to watch the movie online since it was deemed a violation of the terms of service for Burning Angel's billing company. In fact, no website host in American would handle the film and Burning Angel was forced to host it in the Netherlands [on Re-Penetrator.com]. The company eventually put the movie to DVD, and even with the help of the largest distribution company in the adult industry (Pulse Distribution) VERY few stores will pick it up. THE XXXORCIST is currently a nominee for "Most Outrageous Sex Scene" and "Best Special Effects" in this January's AVN Awards. Both films were directed by Doug Sakmann (PUNK ROCK HOLOCAUST, former Head of Production for Troma), whose upcoming PUNK ROCK HOLOCAUST 2 was acquired by Halo-8 last month. The films star Angel, Tommy Pistol, and Kylee Kross.
RE-PENETRATOR is the story of a dead stripper (Angel) re-animated into a nymphomaniac-of-the-living-dead by a perverted mad scientist (Pistol). Unfortunately for the good doctor, the sex-starved zombie may be too much for him to handle in this blood-soaked parody of H.P. Lovecraft's classic RE-ANIMATOR. THE XXXORCIST reunites Angel and Pistol, this time as possessed teen Regan MacFeel and exorcist-priest Father Merkin. Regan's mother (Kross) warns Merkin that this is no ordinary case, but that doesn't stop this exorcist from braving the green bile and spinning heads of demonic possession. When conventional methods fail, Merkin turns to the ultimate religious ritual: the sexorcism. "I watched first out of curiosity but then found that I couldn't turn away.
